One letter, one hilarious pronunciation – and suddenly the alphabet is a party!

One day, the English language committee (don’t ask who they are – no one really knows) decided it was time for a major shake-up. Not the kind that makes headlines like, "Zebra turns into a unicorn," but close. They tackled a letter that had been quietly living its life in the alphabet without causing much drama: the letter “W.”

Now, if you think about it, W has always been a bit of a misfit. It’s literally the only letter named after another letter—double you. Sounds needy, right?

“We’ll fix that,” said one bold linguist, probably sipping on tea and feeling particularly creative. “What if instead of saying ‘double-you,’ we pronounce it ‘Wee?’”

And BOOM, the fun began.
