A traveler enlisted the services of a donkey to transport him to a far-off region. Accompanying the traveler, the owner of the donkey walked alongside, guiding the animal and indicating the correct path.
In the midst of a barren expanse, devoid of any trees, the scorching rays of the sun relentlessly bore down. The heat grew so unbearably intense that the weary traveler made the decision to take a much-needed break. With no other refuge available, the traveler sought solace in the shade cast by the trusty donkey.
The scorching heat had taken its toll on the driver, just as it had on the traveler, if not more so, considering he had been on foot. Desiring a moment of respite under the donkey's cooling shade, the driver engaged in a heated argument with the traveler, claiming that he had only hired the donkey and not the shadow it provided.
As the two individuals engaged in a physical altercation, the donkey swiftly fled from the scene.
