Sober Wisdom: A Flood, a Boat, and the Man Who Didn't Drink
Once upon a time, in a small town known for its love of parties and social gatherings, there lived a man named Sam. Sam was the only person in town who didn't drink alcohol. While everyone else was out enjoying happy hour and toasting to good times, Sam preferred to stay sober and watch from the sidelines.
Now, the townspeople couldn't quite understand why Sam didn't drink. Some thought he was just boring, while others speculated that he must have some secret superpower that made him immune to the effects of alcohol. Regardless, they all found it amusing and would often joke that they needed to "beware of the man who does not drink."
One day, the town was hit by a terrible storm that threatened to flood the entire area. As the water levels rose and panic spread, the townspeople frantically tried to come up with a plan to save themselves. It was then that Sam stepped forward with a twinkle in his eye.
"You see," Sam said with a grin, "while you were all busy drinking and partying, I was learning how to build a boat. And now, thanks to my clear head and steady hands, I have the means to save us all from this disaster."
