In a moment of misfortune, a bat found itself in the dwelling of a weasel, who swiftly pursued it with the intention of making a meal out of it. Pleading for mercy, the bat desperately sought to save its life, but its pleas fell on deaf ears as the weasel remained unmoved.

"I must inform you that you are, indeed, a mouse," he declared, "and as a staunch adversary of the mouse species, I am committed to devouring each and every one that I capture!

"I am definitely not a mouse!" exclaimed the bat, vehemently defending itself. "Observe my wings. Can mice soar through the skies? Absolutely not! I am unquestionably a bird! I implore you to release me!

After acknowledging that the Bat was indeed not a Mouse, the Weasel released him without any further confrontation. However, displaying a lack of wisdom, the Bat recklessly ventured into the den of another Weasel a few days later. Unbeknownst to the Bat, this particular Weasel harbored a deep animosity towards birds, and it didn't take long for him to capture the Bat, preparing to devour him.
